Was it all just a bad dream? (edit / rearrangement of K.C. Green's famous "THIS IS FINE" sequence) [cartoon burns]
Many are only aware of the meme based on the very first two panels of this 12-panel sequence from the comic series ["Gunshow"](https://gunshowcomic.com/). If you haven't read it, here's a suggestion to get thine arse over there, as K.C.'s work is universally weird & excellent. Anyway, the original page is like this:

Oh, and the character's name is "The Question Hound" who recurs fairly often in the strip across its 900-comic run. Question Hound is basically the avatar of that whole series.
