Small Streamer Share Space
Hey there everyone! I thought we could try something different from the usual news and announcement posts.
I've been on a binge of watching Project Wingman playthroughs and ended up stumbling upon a few new faces I've never seen before. As fun as big and experienced streamers are, I thought it would be nice to share some people with little to no audience for a change. Watching them grow and improve can often be as much of a reward as the content itself so why not give them a chance?
I'm not super familiar with everyone I'll be posting about today, as there are some I've been watching for a while and some I've only seen in regards to their PW playthroughs. Not only that, some of the people on my list are pretty new (started a few months ago) while others have been around the block for years so their streaming experience and presence can be all over the place. Either way, I think they're all enjoyable enough to warrant a mention.
Before I begin, I'd like to suggest some guidelines to keep this thread somewhat useful. Feel free to follow them, or don't - I'm not your mom. Here's the idea:
- Try sticking with channels under 20k subscribers. It's not a hard rule (as you'll see on my list) but I want to highlight smaller gals and guys on the scene.
- Please add links to the channels you're talking about. No need to link to every single place they're active on but please at least add their main place of activity.
- Add a short description about each VTuber. Again, no need to go into too much details but a sentence or two about them would be appreciated (can be type of content, how they act on stream etc).
- I don't mind self-promotion personally but I'd prefer if it was in addition to other mentions rather than being the only contribution.
Now, for my list:
- **Ace Windfall** ([Twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/acewindfallch), 1.1k followers)
Great energy, lots of enthusiasm (at least in regards to PW) and just really enjoyable to listen to.
- **DexChan** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU8EWLQhU38PO2tx1NvqmRg), 2k subs)
Gyaru VTuber, plays mostly military related games (NIKKE, various shooters, Ace Combat and Reverse Collapse: Codename Bakery to name a few). Has some elements I'm not a huge fan of (chat text-to-speech when playing in VR, sound effects for raids etc) but her audience is small and restrained enough this isn't too much of an issue.
- **Eamon Fergal** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyiIM7xsQIExE-hG3PvJ6KQ), 6 subs)
Chill and low energy content - not to say that's necessarily bad but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. He only has a few playthroughs so far but seems to focus on older titles.
- **Kuruko Imai** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIWXDDyHuOrOtmVroqgO3ng), 1.9k subs)
Lots of gacha games and some popular titles like Silent Hill f or 13 Sentinels. Once again, pretty chill from what I've seen but I also didn't watch her play more action focused games so I have a rather limited perspective for now.
- **Leo Arcturus** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1K4dw2HIKsyvRNNEnLEHw), 2.4k subs)
Nice voice, pretty chill vibes. Has a strange tendency of streaming in portrait mode recently despite playing "normal" (widescreen) games.
- **Mycha** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEve86GvYJ5HrcOpULMD2Bw), 88 subs)
She's on the lower end of streaming experience and it shows, especially in some technical aspects of her content. Despite this, she manages to avoid my biggest pet peeves especially common amongst starting streamers (no engagement with what they're playing, eating instead of streaming, absolutely nothing to say etc) so I'm willing to wait and see how things will evolve in the future - tech issues can be improved, lack of interest isn't as easy to fix.
- **Natsu Kashii** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxcyfW7LQEhdF_3Zz3y7ekA), 2.9k subs)
90's inspired beach babe playing mostly 20+ year old games. Has a super cute avatar which fits perfectly with her theme.
- **Onolumi** ([YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiyDpPerqXkicZmnxKB9qZQ), 23k subs)
Japanese VTuber streaming in English. Plays mostly older, western games (ranging from 1980's to late 2010's) with a lot of variety in regards to genres. She's a newbie gamer with a lot of perseverence and serious attention to details, making things enjoyable even when she struggles.
- **TiferetEvocatus** ([Twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/tiferetevocatus), 3.7k followers)
Pretty similar to DexChan in terms of content - military shooters, survival horror, survival games (the crafting kind) and some gacha titles. Pretty chill, at least during the streams I've seen.
How about you guys, do you know any small and/or starting VTubers who could use a boost?
