Opera meets soccer as Portland Cherry Bombs launch one-of-a-kind matchday experience

Soccer chants are getting an operatic upgrade in Portland.

The Portland Cherry Bombs FC announced this week a first-of-its-kind partnership with the Portland Opera that will bring live opera performances directly into the matchday atmosphere during the club’s inaugural season.
