The United States was selling raw materials to Nazi Germany in the middle of the Battle of Kursk in 1943
A declassified Soviet foreign intelligence cipher telegram from the NKGB residency in Stockholm, dated July 24, 1943, describes negotiations between American intermediaries and Nazi Germany to organize indirect trade through neutral countries such as Sweden and Portugal.
According to the document, the Americans offered to provide Germany with platinum worth 25 to 30 million Swedish kronor, along with industrial diamonds, in exchange for German chemical products. The telegram states that Hermann Göring authorized the negotiations to continue while concealing Germany’s specific needs.
The document originated from Soviet foreign intelligence, specifically the NKGB (People’s Commissariat for State Security), which handled the USSR’s external espionage operations during this period of World War II.
This was a highly classified document for over 80 years that was just declassified last year and for internal use , so this is an actual intelligence report back to the Kremlin , it’s not for propaganda reasons , meaning they are not making it up for the public.
