Racing Emerges Among League's Best Offenses

This began as a thought exercise stemming from Sarah Weber’s early season success for Racing Louisville FC and has evolved into something much greater than initially intended.

In Week 5 of 2026, with her goal in the 47th minute against the Orlando Pride, Weber officially matched her goals (3) and assists (1) total from her rookie season in 2025. Two of Weber’s goals and her assist as a rookie came in the final five weeks of the regular season which raised the question of “where does Sarah Weber stand among NWSL leaders in goals + assists (goal contributions) in that timeframe?”

As I collected the stats and began comparing league leaders, new questions emerged and evolved into “could Louisville actually have one of, if not, the best offenses in the NWSL?” For a team sitting in 15th place on the table it seemed like a preposterous question but the stats tell another story.
