[Rec] Anime for newbies who create fanart

I was thinking, if I tend to create fanart or fanfiction of anime that I like, I want to be sure that I can reasonably share it with others. One of the gold standards of such permissive engagement is Touhou Project. Which animes do you think are closest to Touhou in that sense?
